Willard Christopher ‘Will’ Smith Jnr was born on September 25th 1968 in West Philadelphia where he was raised. He also spent time in Germantown, Northwest Philadelphia.
He was raised as a Baptist by his parents who separated when he was 13-years-old but they did not divorce until he was around 30.
As his mother worked for the School Board of Philadelphia and had a friend at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology he was offered the chance to go there. Smith had high SAT scores and the Institute needed black kids, but he had no intention of going to college.
In the late 1980s he achieved modest fame as a rapper under the name The Fresh Prince. In 1990 his popularity increased dramatically when he starred in the television series ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’. The show ran for six years on NBC and has been syndicated consistently on various networks since.

Celebrity dream homes…..

Luxury homes always bring about new and exciting extensions to classical homes, not only do they include the bare essentials such as kitchen, front room and reception room, many homes are now expanding their horizons to swimming pools and cinema rooms.
When I was younger I always looked switching over the channel to have a sneak peak of celebrity homes- well ‘cribs’ for that matter, they always included something that we never thought of as missing. From luxury swimming pools rippled to the side of the home, to games rooms lurking behind closed doors. Celebrity status is all about having the most expensive looking homes, fashioning the latest clothing lines, and splashing the cash where it really matters.
I myself like many others could only dream of having such a large dramatic home, which are constantly broadcasted on TV. The luxury home is for the rich but sometimes not the deserving.

The daughter of F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone’s has sped up the London property ladder after reputedly buying her first home – for a racy ’66.5m.
22 year old Petra Ecclestone trumped most first time buyers with her enormous budget. The luxurious pad in question is a 14-bedroom, Grade II listed mansion in Chelsea, west London, previously owned by tycoon Sir Anthony Bamford.
The house, reported to be the most valuable in Chelsea, has its own driveway, six reception rooms, ten bathrooms, adjoining lodge and has planning permission for an underground swimming pool and gym.
Despite the properties abundant opulence, it didn’t escape the troubled property market unscathed. The lavish building remained on the market for over 18 months and had a few million shaved off its initial asking price of ’79m.
